Six billion or 10,000 years. On the billion year counter, with successful generations born on the moon, they will be learn the ability to survive and then thrive on the indigenous home world to which they are born. Perhaps the next day will begin struggling with the painful lesson of WMD versus the “rockets of life”. These life rockets give us a vision into the future which maintains our covenant with G-d as mostly nomadic blessed people that explores and keeps G-d’s creation.
